AFIHUD stands for Action for Integrated Human Development, a registered NGO based in Sumbawanga, Rukwa Region, Tanzania. We focus on empowering communities through education, health, environmental conservation, gender equality, and economic empowerment.
Our head office is located on Kamita Street, near Katuma Secondary School, in Sumbawanga Ward, Sumbawanga District, Rukwa Region, Tanzania.
Membership is open to all individuals aged 18 and above, of sound mind, and who are willing to support our mission and vision.
To volunteer, simply contact us via email, phone, or visit our office. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in ongoing projects and community activities.

We have a Board of Directors and hold annual general meetings where financial and activity reports are shared with all members. Funds are used strictly for organizational objectives and are monitored through regular audits.
While we are based in Rukwa Region, AFIHUD is registered to operate nationally across Tanzania.
